Don’t miss the Sudbourne Park Printmakers Winter Show Fri 28 to Sun 30th Nov and the following weekend Sat 6 and Sun 7th Nov. It’s in their studio at 4 Bothy Yard, Sudbourne Park, IP12 2AJ and I shall have some new work in the exhibition along with 30 other printmakers.

CHRISSY NORMAN

Based in Suffolk, I have been a printmaker for over 25 years, mainly concentrating on etching and often using colour. My style has gradually evolved to feature less detailed work but I still go back to etching, along with contemporary methods such as carborundum and monotypes. Please click here for a CV.

ETCHINGS
There are etchings in the etching shop which you can buy online, all are supplied unframed and unmounted. The aim is to keep a few of each in stock so that your order can be dispatched within 2 to 3 days but as they take time to produce this is not always possible and at busy times some of them sell out and have to be reprinted.

All orders placed on the website will receive an order acknowledgement straight away with an expected delivery date. Most orders are dispatched within a week but please allow 14 days for etchings that need to be reprinted. Each etching is signed, titled with an edition number and supplied with a certificate and CV.

GREETINGS CARDS
There are 9 new cards in the range  including some winter scenes and new coastal scenes. All single cards are £3.25 each and you can now buy any quantity from one upwards, postage paid.  There are now 4 card packs available: Trees & Fields, Winter, Woodland and Coastal.

DELIVERY AND POSTAGE
Please note that due to increased costs and regulations we now only deliver to UK addresses, excluding N Ireland. Postage is free – etchings are posted 1st class using Royal Mail Tracked 24 service. Greetings cards are sent by standard post so allow a few days for delivery.

Etchings

All the images displayed in the Etching Shop are original etchings and have been printed on an etching press using traditional techniques. They are produced by blending oil based inks onto copper or zinc plate and are not hand embellished afterwards. As each one is hand inked individually, a small variation in colour may occur.

They are printed onto an off white Hahnemulle paper in small editions. Each etching is signed and numbered and supplied with a certificate of authenticity..

All works are supplied unmounted and unframed.

Galleries and Exhibitions 2025

I will be exhibiting for 2 weekends with other members of Sudbourne Park Printmakers in their Winter Show at 4 Bothy Yard, Sudbourne Park, IP12 2AJ.

Friday 28th to Sunday 30th November and Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th December. Open 10am to 4pm. Lots of original prints set in our studio amongst the antique presses and free mince pies and mulled wine!

Etching Courses

If you are interested in learning how to produce your own etching or would like to brush up on your printmaking skills, this is for you. I teach etching at Sudbourne Park Printmakers’ well equipped studio set in rural Suffolk. Their popular 2 day etching or relief workshops are held in the spring, summer and autumn and are suitable for beginners and improvers.
